Next Austrian NMR Meeting 2027

The proposed meeting aims to create a dedicated forum for the next generation of NMR spectroscopists in Austria and neighboring countries. It will provide an opportunity for early-career researchers to connect, exchange ideas, discuss their research, and address common scientific and professional challenges.

The event is primarily designed for MSc students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers, who will be encouraged to present their work through oral presentations and poster sessions. We envision the meeting as an open and inclusive gathering for the NMR community, helping to strengthen existing networks, support emerging researchers, and foster new collaborations both within Austria and across neighboring countries.

Scientific topics will include, but are not limited to, protein structure and dynamics, intrinsically disordered proteins, RNA, drug discovery and delivery, selective isotope labeling, EPR, DNP, and related methodological developments in magnetic resonance.

As a special feature of this inaugural edition, the meeting will be combined with a hands-on workshop aimed at supporting newer PhD students and researchers with limited prior experience in NMR. The long-term goal is to establish a recurring event that contributes to the growth and cohesion of the regional NMR community.
