Our new news portal, Insights, has been awarded the PR-Panther 2026 by the Advertising and Market Communication Section of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO Steiermark). In the ‘Science, Research and Education’ category, the communications project impressed the expert jury and prevailed over numerous entries from the education and science sectors.

The PR-Panther is awarded annually to outstanding public relations projects with a Styrian connection. The ‘Science, Research and Education’ category recognises communication achievements by universities, universities of applied sciences, and educational and research institutions that convey scientific content in a way that is understandable, relevant and tailored to the target audience.

Communicating science in an accessible way

Since its launch, the Insights news portal has brought together the diverse topics covered by the Medical University of Graz in one central location. The latest research findings, insights into teaching and student life, campus news and information on events make science, medicine and university life accessible to a variety of target audiences.

The award confirms that the University of Medicine and Dentistry of Graz is on the right track in making research and innovation visible and communicating scientific findings in a clear and contemporary manner.

Recognition for dedicated communication work

The PR Panther is awarded by the Advertising and Market Communication Section of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO Steiermark). The winners were selected through a public vote and the assessment of a panel of experts. The PR Panther 2026 award ceremony took place yesterday at the Press Club Graz.

Winning the PR Panther represents a significant recognition of the University of Medical Sciences Graz’s communications work within the Styrian communications and media landscape. At the same time, the award underscores the role of ‘Insights’ as a central platform for knowledge transfer and for raising the profile of the University of Medical Sciences Graz’s diverse achievements.

We are delighted to receive this award and would like to thank our project partner, the agency Moodly, for their outstanding collaboration.
