The independent expert jury of INTEGRI – the Austrian Prize for Integrated Care – has announced the winners for 2026. Now in its eighth year, this prestigious award recognises innovative initiatives and projects that rethink healthcare across sectors and bring about sustainable improvements.

The project “CoPilot-Gesundheit – digital patient journey across borders” was awarded a prize at INTEGRI 26 in the category “Exemplary integrated initiative – project in implementation”.

The project

With CoPilot, the team at the Medical University of Graz is developing, for the first time, a fully digital, evidence-based and cross-sectoral patient journey that actively supports patients throughout their care. By linking outpatient, inpatient and rehabilitation care, and with a focus on health literacy and self-management, the aim is to achieve better outcomes for patients and relieve the burden on the healthcare system. Shorter hospital stays, fewer complications and readmissions, and a more efficient use of resources are expected to benefit both individuals and society.

Med Uni Graz extends its warmest congratulations on this success!
