Teaching Workshop: Recognition for Successful Teaching

As part of the annual get-together organised by the Styrian Higher Education Conference, ten graduates of the Medical University of Graz were recently honoured for their further training in higher education pedagogy. The awards went to eight graduates of the eDidactics programme and two graduates of the Didactics Workshop 2026.
The award ceremony took place in the Audimax at FH JOANNEUM and was opened by Rector Corinna Engelhardt-Nowitzki. In her welcoming address, she emphasised the central role of innovative higher education pedagogy in future-oriented teaching. Further contributions were made by Michael Kopp (eDidactics) and Dagmar Archan, Head of the Didactics Workshop at eCampus.
The following staff members from the Medical University of Graz were honoured:
- eDidactics graduates: Michael Holzer, Christa Maurer, Daniela Sperl, Christoph Nusshold, Christine Rossmann, Desiree Forstner, Thomas Perwein, Paul Zajic
- Didactics Workshop graduates: Petra Luschnig, Ahmed Hassan
In recognition of their achievements, Herwig Rehatschek, Programme Director of eDidactics at the Medical University of Graz, presented all graduates with a gift.
The eDidactics programme is a Styrian-wide training programme for digital teaching and innovative didactic concepts. By completing the programme, the graduates are making an important contribution to the further development of teaching quality at the Medical University of Graz.
