In an era of increasingly complex datasets, the ability to create clear, publication-quality visualizations is a vital skill. However, for many scientists, the barrier isn't the data—it's the code. This workshop introduces researchers to AI-assisted plotting, a workflow that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to bridge the gap between scientific ideas and professional figures. Participants will learn how to use AI tools to generate, refine, and troubleshoot plotting code (R, ggplot2, dplyr and tidyr). By focusing on prompt engineering and iterative design, this course empowers researchers to spend less time debugging and more time interpreting their results.
